The strength of assigning this type of sampling method is that it is efficient. Intervening each subject can be time- and cost-consuming. The weakness that I can see with type sampling is that cluster sampling is typically "best used to study large, spread-out populations, where aiming to interview each subject would be costly, time-consuming, and perhaps impossible" (Team). This environment is not necessarily spread out; it is all confined to one building. Although patients from all the sections of the facility can be included, the patients from each station vary from station 1 having memory or cognitive issues to the subacute where patients are AOX1. Thus, interviewing patients from the resident council could be more effective as residents are cognitively aware. However, the problem would be whether all clusters were represented. Concluding this is a very efficient sampling method for a very large population; however, I don't believe this would be the most efficient for my healthcare setting
