the Supreme Court has the power to strike down federal and state states or the acts of a president or governor when the justice's have determined that those actions are inconsistent with the U.S. Constitution. This concept of "Judicial Review" is sometimes in conflict with a majority of the American people and democratically established state and federal laws.

Does the Supreme Court's power of "Judicial Review' conflict with our democratic values or is it a necessary check on authority that goes beyond the grant of power given in the U.S. Constitution?
