Optional Assignment: To earn the two extra credits for week four, write a short essay of a minimum of 300 words, which includes the following topics: 1) Analyze the PERT processes and the CPM processes. Compare and contrast between the two, point out similarities and differences.

2) Probably analyze the advantages of "Process Capability". Include a practical example of your analysis. Note: These can be based on pages 356-357 of chapter 16 of your textbook.

3) Regarding project management, apply the Critical Path Method (CPM). Include examples in relation to a well-known company.

4) Apply the "Total Productive Maintenance" to a well-known company. Include examples in your answer (examples should be different than the examples in your textbook. Note: They can be based on chapter 17 of your textbook, as one of the references.
