Giger Freight Co.s chart of accounts should be used: i. Wages Payable, 22; ii. Supplies Expense, 52; iii. Depreciation ExpenseEquipment, 55; iv. Depreciation ExpenseTrucks, 56; v. Insurance Expense, 57. c. Prepare an adjusted trial balance. d. Prepare an income statement, a retained earnings statement, and a balance sheet. e. Journalize and post the closing entries. (Income Summary is account #34 in the chart of accounts.) Indicate closed accounts by inserting a line in both Balance columns opposite the closing entry (example on page 169). f. Prepare a post-closing trial balance.
