The union and management are meeting about a grievance filed by an employee. Management and the Union disagree about whether the wording in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) entitles seniority for overtime to be calculated on the basis of each type of skilled employee, OR if it is to be calculated on the basis of seniority without regard to what skills the senior employee possesses. Management says that it must be on the basis of senior skill-qualified employee, because if they need a machinist, having a custodian won't do.
