The website of the Alliance for Innovative Manufacturing (AIM) at Stanford at

http://manufacturing.stanford.edu/ includes a wide variety of videos that illustrate how things are

made. Click on the How Everyday Things are Made link on their website. After watching the

brief introductory video, select the Products 2 tab on the left navigation bar, and then click on

the Crayons link. After watching the video, write a paragraph or two that identifies and briefly

describes the major processing departments that might be found in a Crayola factory. (Ignore

the crayon sharpener that inserted into the larger boxes.)
