Q1. Link to a social media website for the organization of your choice (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) and review some of its recent postings. (6 pts) 1) What themes do you see that are similar among the posts, and what differences are immediately recognizable? 2) Explain whether or not these posts appear to be on-brand for the organization. Q2. Engagement Rate (8 pts) 1) Determine the average engagement rate (e.g., like, comment, retweet, share, etc) for the most recent five postings on your organizations social media account. Are the numbers consistent? 2) Explain potential reasons why the numbers are or are not consistent based on recent posts by the organization. Q3. Sentiment Analysis (6 pts) 1) Review some of comments on the most recent five postings. Is sentiment in the comments by fans generally position? Neutral? Negative? Q4. Problems and Goals (10 pts) 1) Based on your response to the first three questions above, what appear to be potential public relations opportunities and goals of the content posted? 2) What content on the site poses potential public relations problems? 3) Determine one step the organization could take to move the conversation forward in a more positive way.
