Then place and fix the first sheet ensuring the correct overhang of 50mm from the edge of the fastener is provided. Continue fixing more sheets in position checking that the sheet ends at the lower edge are exactly the same. Also, that the sheets sit correctly so the integral anti-capillary space is effective to prevent rainwater being drawn through the sheeting joints. Measure and check the overall cover width at top and bottom of the sheets to avoid uneven coverage of the sheets vertically. Stitch the side laps at midspan for wall spans exceeding that specified and install the appropriate under/over flashings. Clean up removing all swarf, cuttings and screws and leave clean and water tight. Request the site manager and or builder to inspect the completed work and document outcome as part of quality assurance process.
