Theo and Mike are both PhD students at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. In March 2022, Theo wrote to Mike to offer his MacBook Air Laptop for RM1000.00. The letter expressly stated that if Mike does not respond by 10th April 2022, he is deemed to have accepted the offer. On 9th April 2022, Theo sent a letter to Mike withdrawing his offer. Meanwhile, Mike posted a letter to Theo on 10th April 2022 accepting Theo's offer. Theo's letter of withdrawal reached Mike on 11th April 2022, whilst Mike's letter of acceptance reached Theo on 12th April 2022. Theo is now refusing to honour the contract, and therefore Mike wishes to sue him
