Management would have to be more hypervigilant to ensure work is being completed. "Theory Y" managers may be more relaxed regarding personal electronic devices in the workplace due to having a trust-based relationship that believes that workers are motivated to work and enjoy taking ownership. These managers may look at the personal devices as not being a distraction if the work is being completed
