There are 800 stations in a network. Each station transmits 500 frames/second, and the size of one
frame is 3200 bits. As we know, in addition to the application data, different protocols add differently
sized headers with the application data before they are sent through the network media. The additional
data from protocols are called overhead. For example, TCP adds 20 Bytes overhead, UDP adds 8 Bytes
overhead, and Ethernet II adds 18 Bytes overhead with each frame. Also, routing protocols add
overhead when routing information between routers in the network is exchanged. For example:
Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) routing protocols send the Hello packets every 10 seconds.
The size of this Hello packet is 2 Bytes.
Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocols (IGRP) send the Hello packets every 5 seconds,
and Routing Information Protocol (RIP) sends the entire Routing table every 30 seconds.
Assume the routing table size for each of the routers is approximately 200 KB (KiloBytes), there are
fifteen routers in the network, and the routers use the RIP protocol. Traffic load calculation should
take these protocol overheads into accoun
