There are a lot of different use cases out there for using some form of a File Transfer Protocol $($FTP$,$ SFTP$,$ FTPS$,$ TFTP$,$ etc.$).$ For this discussion, you will come up with a use case that illustrates where the use of one of these protocols is essential. Then you will need to research what possible protocols you can use to accomplish the task. For example, many pieces of software out there can do backups for you, but not all will use the same protocol. You will then defend why you would use FTP or another transfer protocol.
