There are certain traits or qualities of an effective leader that can make a team and organization great and high performing. When a leader empowers the team, they can take ownership of the process or product. It builds trust as well because the leader is entrusting the team to make decisions. By communicating effectively, a leader sets clear expectations about what they want so there is no ambiguity. Additionally, they give candid feedback so that team members can improve and not think they're doing great when they may not be. A leader who is adaptable is someone who can not only recognize when something is not working but can also think of innovative ways to address a problem.
