There is a desk job in our facility that requires one person doing the job 24 hours a day during all seven days of the week. The people doing this work have an 8-hour work shift. They get 2 days off each week and thus work 40 hours each week. They have 12% of their day unavailable for personal time (breaks, meetings, etc.) but another person must staff the desk during that time.

How many FTEs do we need? What else might be important?
