There is a research group that is studying employers in Britain offering a 4-day work week. I know studies have been done before on this, and it is quite common in Europe. I just found it interesting that the majority of the study participants have maintained or increased productivity. I do think this has been going on with our hybrid of "working from home". It will be interesting to see how flexible companies are moving forward.
The article also mentions that California also tried introducing a 32-hour work week earlier this year but it stalled out in Congress. I am wondering because of America's mentality if this will ever work here or not. My thoughts would be "great if we can", but the reality is "most likely won't be widespread here".
