There is no doubt that various policies, regulations and initiatives are needed now and not later to ensure the transparency, verifiability and accountability of Ai Agents and cognitive Bots and to address the right to privacy, the right to equal treatment and avoidance of bias, and the mitigation of negative impacts on employment.

Many believe it is crucial that policy decisions on AI must be made by each country and in accordance with its own data protection and data privacy laws in line with its own culture. For example, China has strict laws on selling and using data without consent, with the possibility of imprisonment for such offenses, while the European Union (EU) has recently implemented the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

There are many who worry about controlling AI and superintelligence and are calling for governments to step up t the task. What do you think? Should there be global standards and common policies instead?
