Think about some contingencies of reinforcement that you see in your life or in others in your life. What would happen if those reinforcers were taken away?

For example, every time I sit in a certain chair in the dining room outside of dinner time, my dog Baxter will began to whine and jump and engage in attention seeking behavior. Because this is rather annoying to me, I provide attention fairly quickly. However, something different happens if I don't.

What situations do you see that you could try extinction on?
