In formulating your journal entry, you may find it valuable to consider the following:

• What kinds of human behaviour resulted in the creation of these controls?
• Were these controls successful in altering human behaviour? If not, try to imagine what would have been a more seamless fit for the organisation's employees and office culture.
• Can you identify any control-based nudges used in your organisation?
