**This assignment contains four parts. Follow the descriptions and business rules listed under each part to draw appropriate Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs). For this assignment, you do NOT need to provide supporting documentations such as entity definitions, attribute definitions, and relationship definitions.

Wally Los Gatos, owner of Wallys Wonderful World of Wallcoverings, Etc., has hired you as a consultant to design a database management system for his new online marketplace for wallpaper, draperies, and home decorating accessories. He would like to track sales, prospective sales, and customers. Ultimately, hed like to become the leading online retailer for all things related to home decorating. During an initial meeting with Wally, you and Wally developed a list of business requirements to begin the design of an ER-model for the database to support his business needs. Please draw 3 different ER diagrams in total for this assignment, 1 for each part.

a. The first phase deals with a few core elements. Incorporate your knowledge on general business in your design. Draw an ERD to represent this initial phase, described by the following:

-Customers are defined as both those who have bought and those as prospective buyers Wally has identified based on his prior brick-and-motar business outlets. Customers should be identified by customer ID. System should record information such as customer name, date of birth, gender, mailing address, phone number (if any), and email address (if any). Include in your design any other attributes (such as demographic information) you think can be potentially valuable to the organization.

-A product is defined as an object currently being manufactured and sold at Wallys, identified by a unique ID. Product name, product description and standard price should also be stored. Include in your design any other attributes you think can be potentially valuable to the organization.

-A customer may be included in the database even if the customer has never purchased any products. Customer may place any number of orders and each order may contain any number of products.

-Use your background knowledge gained from College of Business, complete the initial design of the ERD.

b. Wally wants to be able to suggest products for customers to buy. Augment your answer to part a of this assignment, to present the following new requirements in the database.

-Wally knows that most of the products he sells have similar alternatives that a customer might want to consider. Similarity is fairly subtle, so he or his staff would like to be able to identify each product is similar to what other products, if any.

-Wally also thinks that he can improve sales by reminding customer about products they have previously considered or viewed when on his online marketplace.

c. In the next phase, you will extend the database design to begin to handle shipment and delivery. Augment your answer to part b of this assignment, to present the following new requirements in the database.

-Some customers may have multiple homes or properties for which they order products. Different orders for the same customer may go to different addresses, but several orders for the same customer often go to the same address. Other information regarding the address such as whether the address is primary or secondary address, address active start data, and address inactive date should also be stored. Include any other attributes you believe should benefit the organization in your ERD.

-Customers also like to see what other people think about products they are considering to buy. So, the database needs to be able to allow customers to rate and to write review for any products they buy, and for other customers considering purchasing a product to see the reviews and ratings from those who have already purchased the product being considered. Wally also wants to know what reviews customers have viewed, so he can tell which reviews might be influencing purchases.
