ON THE FLY COMPANY DESCRIPTION

On The Fly provides secure and efficient same day delivery to our clients. We are the primary provider of same day deliveries within the entire city of Miami. We have provided all 25 experienced drivers with advanced GPS Technology within each truck to make finding delivery sites easier. We can guarantee all packages to be delivered timely, secure and provide buyers a confirmation tracking all within the same day the item was ordered. Our target market is consumers living within the State of Florida who are on the go or those that may not want to go into big public spaces, especially after the pandemic. Our company services the everyday needs of customers who want quality same day delivery service at affordable prices. Our Mission is to provide our customers with services that will assure they have everything they need to live comfortably both in the average day and during times of crisis. We strive to make sure that our customers will never have to worry about going without food, water, or heating. No one in our communities should not have access to the conveniences of life. The Vision of On The Fly is to expand our reach to new communities farther north of Florida. In five years, On The Fly will have two additional remote offices in Tampa and Orlando and have increased the number of drivers to 100. On The Fly will be able to be the primary delivery service for communities all over South Florida.

ON THE FLY CRISIS MANAGEMENT TEAM The crisis management team are designated employees of 'On the Fly' that manage any crisis that the company may encounter. The main purpose of the CMT is to prevent or minimize the negative impact a crisis may have on the company, its employees, and customers. The team identifies possible threats and develops action plans in response to these crisis situations. The CMT plans and organizes training for the company in order to prepare its employees for potential crisis situations. After training the CMT evaluates weaknesses with the crisis plans and makes changes to address identified issues. When a crisis does occur the CMT is charged with leading the company through the crisis plan. The CMT is responsible for all public relations communications regarding the crisis. After a crisis the CMT evaluates how effective procedures functioned during the crisis. After the team re-evaluates procedures changes are made to improve the crisis management plan.

ON THE FLY CRISIS

Competing big box companies has caused us to face competing pay scales for employee salary and benefits. The problem at hand we are facing right now is the possibility of losing the majority of our drivers if we do not revamp our payment model by increasing compensation. On the fly CMT agrees on the fact that this issue occurred due to the lack of review in the compensation department; quarterly compensation should be reviewed to understand the pay rate within the area and allow us to pay our drivers accordingly. The issue facing the company is deciding if raising our delivery fees to increase our drivers pay and benefits is worth it and if we do not have the possibility of losing our drivers to our competitors. Things will evolve in the foreseeable future for our drivers. On the Fly will offer our drivers a great salary and benefits compared to our competitors since they are the heart of our company and business model; delivery fees will be raised but with the same expectation of items delivered efficiently. This should raise the morale of our drivers and consumers.

ON THE FLY SOLUTION TO THE CRISIS

First and foremost we would like to thank our amazing customers for being able to make this possible; recently we all know prices have been climbing and wages have been very stagnant. But here at ON THE FLY, we try our best to be forward thinking; due to inflation we will be raising our prices by 10 percent this will go toward providing better wages and benefits for our employees. We think this is a great decision for our employees since they are the ones that make it all happen. We want to thank everyone who supports our decision and hope you continue supporting ON THE FLY. On The Fly recommends their customers to expect an increase in shipping costs following the revamping of their compensation model.

The revamp of On The Fly's compensation model signifies their response to competing big box companies challenging their driver's preexisting salaries and benefits. This revamp includes an expansion of the driver's existing medical benefits as well as an increase in salary to beat the competition. On The Fly stated that their customers should expect an increase of around 10% on their orders as shipping costs rise. Following an statement from On The Fly's spokesperson, Janet Garcia, we were told that, "The greatest asset that we have on On The Fly is our amazing drivers. Without them, nothing would be possible. So, we have to make sure that they are as happy to be here with us as we are happy to have them."
