This economic theory argues that an economy dominated by valuable and traditional commodities will be shaped in terms of the larger economy, the polity, and the society by the needs and nature of the primary resources/raw materials. Also a model for understanding the political economy of a country in which these primary resources/raw materials are fundamental to the export economy
