(This is a BUSINESS LAW Question)

Assume the following facts Acme Construction, Inc, signed a contract to build a hotel for the BestHotels chain. The contract specified that the hotel must be finished by December 1. 2019 When the contract was being negotiated, Best Hotels truthfully informed Acme that the Hotel had contracted with a large plumbers union to hold a large convention for the plumbers union at the newly constructed hotel from December 10 to 15, 2019 & that the hotel would have to pay damages of $50.000 to the plumbers union if the hotel was not open in time for that convention. These damages would cover the extra fees the union would have to pay to hold their convention elsewhere based on short notice. However, the contract between Acme Construction & Best Hotels does NOr mention the possibility that the construction firm will need to pay these damages to compensate the hotel if it was not open in time for the plumber's-union convention. So, the construction firm knew about the possibility of these damages, but they were not addressed in the written contract between the construction firm and the hotel Despite their best efforts, the workers at Acme do not complete the hotel until January 1, 2020 6 BestHotels is indeed liable for the $50,000 in damages to be paid to the plumbers' union when BestHotels breaks the contract for holding the convention. In addition, If the hotel had opened on time on December 1, for that month of December, the hotel would have taken in $100,000 in revenue (for room rent, food, etc., including the revenue the hotel would have made from the plumber's convention) & would have spent $40,000 in costs to run the hotel for that 1 month. Explain in detail for each category of damages: what are the hotel's damages ( give precise amounts! ) to be paid by Acme Construction AND explain what kind(s)/type(s) of damages are these?
