How would you prioritize each of the below assignments and why? - Schedule a Patient for Surgery A patient had an appointment today in clinic and was sent to surgical scheduling after their appointment. Meet with this patient and schedule their surgery. II Dbtain an Authorization Request an insurance authorization for a surgery scheduled at 9 am 5 days from now. II Document an Authorization Document an insurance authorization number in Epic for a surgery scheduled at 8 am tomorrow. - Request Outside Records Call an outside facility to request medical records for a patient who is scheduled to meet with the provider today at 3 pm. - Return a Patient Phone Call Call back a patient that has left you a message with questions about their surgery tomorrow at 10 am. II Speak with the Surgeon Update the Surgeon on a patient who noshowed for their preop visit required before their surgery is scheduled. l - Update the Depot Report the depot report is provided daily to the surgeons to update them on patients who need surgery but have not been scheduled yet due to outstanding clinical or psychosocial issues. Update the depot report with notes for the provider meeting at 3 pm today
