Should we hire three baristas or two?" Scenario: Alina, Kelly and Shay (AKS) - three friends who met at 'The College' - are thinking of starting a caf. Based on their initial analysis, they foresee they will require $150,000 as an initial investment. They look to contribute to the initial investment as follows: Alina will contribute half as much as Kelly, and Kelly will contribute half as much as Shay. They can manage to start and don't require any loans
