This is a response made by my peer Diya Z the following question

All else being equal would you prefer to work in a tall or flat organization? Why?

All else being equal, I would prefer to work in a flat organization. As an employee in the organization, I will have more autonomy to complete m tasks how I want to, as long as I meet my deadlines. My manager will not be able to micromanage or criticize my work constantly. This in turn can make me feel at ease and create less stressful work environment. I will be able to work at my own pace, within reason, and be able to find a higher sense of fulfillment through the work that I do.

The following is my response to the same question

All else being equal would you prefer to work in a tall or flat organization? Why?

When it comes to my preference between a tall and a flat organization, if all else being equal I would prefer to work in a flat organization. Since flat organizations have less levels of hierarchy, I believe communication would be more direct and decisions can be done more quickly .Furthermore a flat organization will provide me with more freedom and autonomy which will lead to created job satisfaction and creativity.
