This is a two-tailed test. What is the z obtained and how do I find it in a statistical problem? Is it the formula z=xbar-u/(o/sqrt(n))?
This is a two-tailed test. What is the z obtained and how do I find it in a statistical problem? Is it the formula z=xbar-u/(o/sqrt(n))? I have the zcrit which i found to be plus or minus 2.58. I found this because they game me the alpha at .01 and I plugged it into my calculator with invNorm(.01/2) but I'm not sure if that is correct either.
