1) Water is being poured at a rate of 8 cubic feet per minute into a conical reservoir, which is 12 feet deep and has a top radius of 6 feet. How fast is the water rising when the water is 4 feet deep?

2) A woman standing on a cliff is watching a motorboat through a telescope as the boat approaches the shoreline directly below her. If the telescope is 250 feet above the water level and if the boat is approaching at 20 feet per second, at what rate is the angle of the telescope changing when the boat is 250 feet from shore?

3) A television camera at ground level is filming the lift-off of a space shuttle that is rising vertically according to the position equation s = 50t^2 , where S is measured in feet and t is measured in seconds. The camera is 2000 feet from the launch pad. Find the rate of change in the angle of the camera at 10 seconds after lift-off.

4) A highway patrol plane flies 3 miles above a level straight road at a steady 120 mi/hr. The pilot sees an oncoming car and with radar determines that at the instant the line-of-sight distance from plane to car is 5 miles, the line-of-sight distance is decreasing at a rate of 160 mi/hr. Find the car's speed along the highway.
