This is information about my final course project for my bachelor's in biology. My teacher is awol and no one in the class has had direct contact with (this person) for three weeks. I could use some guidance with determining how to best analyze my data that I gathered.

My project: I had five troughs filled with water, where I placed in each (1-5) a gradually increasing amountsof dissolved fertilize (1 has none and ending with five having four times the amount of two). In each trough I grew 20 plants in separate plant cups. This ended up being 100 plants total (with three outliers because they didn't grow). I gathered information such as mass of the plants, length of leaves, and diameter of taproot (these are radishes).

I'm wondering how to best analyze the data. Do I consider each trough to be a separate t test and compare it to the control trough? Or do I analyze the entire experiment as a whole and run a z test? This would definitely be considered a two sided test in looking at the data. If you have any questions or want additional clarifications, feel free. I will respond shortly. Please include any additional statistical analysis you think would be pertinent to my experimental results as well as equations that you do use (its been a minute since I have taken stats).

HO There is no difference in radish plant size between fertilizer treatments.

Ha There is a positive relationship between radish plant size and fertilizer level.
