This is one of those opportunities where you can provide both sides of the debate and attack the counterargument from the start. Playing "devil's advocate" is a strong strategy in persuasion. By putting the potential arguments "out there" and addressing them, you leave the listeners with the responsibility to think deeper about why they think the way they do.
