This milestone is due in Module Three. You will use the concepts from the class to describe in words the interactions that explain the motion observed in the selected stage of your device. If you haven't begun the design of a device, provide a reference to a device that you've found. Your submission will qualitatively describe what is going on during the selected step and the transitions to and from the neighboring steps.

Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

  1. Step Selection: Select a step or stage in the Rube Goldberg device. Give a concise description of the step or stage.
  2. Selected Step:
    1. Initial Velocity: Calculate the initial velocity of the object in the selected step. Explain what the object's initial velocity tells you about the object's behavior.
    2. Velocity and Force Calculations: Calculate the change in velocity that would be observed based on kinematics and force principles. Then use Newton's Second Law to calculate the force acting on the object.
