This question is relating to SAS (using SAS OnDemand for Academics)

I have to pick an "appropriate graph for a dataset". My question is, when selecting a graph, are there specific attributes of the graph I should look for that make it "appropriate"? I've been playing around with different graphs and can see that depending on the size of the dataset, some graphs just won't work. I am just wondering if there is more to it than that.
