This table below (bottom)contains 113 weeks of sales information for the following variables from the frankfurter category:

BrandA_Share: BrandA market share (as a proportion)

BrandA_Price: price of BrandA hotdogs in dollars

BrandB_Price: price of BrandB hotdogs in dollars

BrandC_Price: price of BrandC hotdogs in dollars

BrandD_Price: price of BrandD hotdogs in dollars

Next, run a regression with market share as the dependent variable and BrandA_Price, BrandB_Price and BrandC_Price as the independent variables. That is, estimate the model,

BrandA_Share = b0 + b1BrandA_Price + b2BrandB_Price + b3BrandC_Price

Copy and paste the regression results.

(a) Write down and interpret the coefficient on BrandA_Price.

(b) Write down and interpret the coefficient on BrandC_Price.

(c) Does our estimate of the intercept (the b0 coefficient) have any managerial interpretation? If yes, please provide the interpretation. If No, then please briefly explain why.

(d) If BrandB and BrandC hotdogs are both priced at $1.60, what is the predicted market share for BrandA hotdogs if it prices itself at $1.50?

(e) If we think of the "closest" competitor as that whose price changes affect market share the greatest, can the regression output be used to figure out which of the competing brands (BrandB or BrandC) is the closest competitor to BrandA hotdogs? If not, why not? If yes, which brand is the closest competitor?
