This week hasn't been incredibly different from the others. I have been working on new briefs, attending preliminary hearings by phone and participating, signing as a witness to deeds and preparing for upcoming final hearings.

Overall, I have gotten to write initial briefs and replies, put it motions for costs and fees, amending an award, objecting to an arbitrator, settlement agreements as well as sitting in on and signing as witness to deeds, wills and trusts. I have gotten to participate in preliminary hearings and work on final hearings. I stayed active in communicating with clients, opposing counsels and arbitrators. I feel as though I've gotten to do quite a bit during these five weeks and I'm very grateful.

The best part for me has been learning how to open my thought process in cases. I sit with my lawyer a lot and ask questions and he's been great about challenging me to think bigger or dive deeper in my thinking while working a case.

I'm not sure what the worst part really is. I love this office and love learning in a small environment with a kind lawyer. I can't say that I thoroughly enjoy all the staff, but we are all certainly pleasant enough to each other. Other than that, I can't say enough good things about the firm and my time there.
