This week's media was a reimagined version of "Video Killed The Radio Star." Pomplamoose recorded a cover with a markedly different style than the Buggles'original version. The Buggles themselves are no longer as prominent, though they have recorded recently.

This illustrates a problem: when the economy grows, some people lose jobs, while others gain new ones. In an essay, please address the following question: Predict the likely effects on GDP when driverless cars are safe and common. Also describe the effects on people whose current occupations involve driving (taxi drivers, delivery drivers, etc). If you wish, you may instead predict the effects of a different technological innovation that, through automation or other reasons, you predict will "replace" jobs currently done by people. This assignment is worth up to 4 points and draws on chapters 14 and 15.
