You will use the articles found in the WALL STREET JOURNAL (digital hard copy only..) as your ONLY source of information during this time period to explain why the DJIA and the S&P 500 moved as it did...o you will then determine if the DJIA and S&P 500(measuring the economy as a whole) influenced the movement of my stock value (considered a macroeconomic influence) ORo whether my stock value moved independently of the "markets" indicating some microeconomic influences were taking place (within the company or the industry itself). If you find some microeconomic influences in play, your WSJ articles should support these findings.
