To assess and manage the operational problem the supervisors revisited multiple items. Starting with the Asset management log which helps track and manage inventory, including maintenance schedules, warranty information, and equipment location. They reviewed this log to check if the audio equipment was functioning properly. After they checked to make sure all tech was working they then began comparing the feedback log to the employee schedule to cross-examine who was working during the times when they received poor feedback. The employee schedule is not only scheduled in the system but displayed on a board in the tech office to emulate the kanban system which refers to cards used to control the flow of production (Krajewski, L. & Malhotra, M. 2022). The name of the employee on shift is placed under each event that's being held that day and moved to other columns when completed. By doing this, the supervisor was able to narrow down which staff members had been having issues. From there the supervisor met with those select individuals to have a discussion on problems they were having with room setups and offer help. In addition to that, the supervisor implemented quarterly training and development programs to refresh everyone on tasks and procedures. This proactive approach helped address the root causes of the operational problem and improve the overall quality of audio support services provided by the team
