techniques; and$/$or the best practices for design, implantation, and analysis. Survey design is a

combination and art and science. In addition to the basic coverage of effective survey design,

you can add specific areas of focus such as survey fatigue, using an odd or even Likert scale,

active versus passive voice, and smart surveys. Effective survey design is essential for

conducting the data analysis associated with the empirical research for which the survey is
