To Hayley Schramm (..m@little.ly.com.a From: Christian Wells (..s@little.ly.com.au) Date/time: Wednesday 3:15 p.m. Subject: Under Performing Staff Member Good afternoon Hayley, Welcome back from your two-week break. I need to inform you that I have received several complai about Cheryle, your lead educator, in the Pre Kinder room. A summary of these is provided below: Cheryle is often taking personal calls on her mobile phone or sending a text on the floor. Other staff pick up duties that Cheryle is responsible for, such as communicating important care practice information with families. Cheryle takes observations that her colleagues do not believe are honest and accurate of what children were doing and saying. Cheryle has had some longer lunch breaks lately - when asked, she said she was talking to management. The staff are starting to get irritable and snappy with each other in the pre-kinder room - this is demonstrative of Little.ly values and philosophy. The staff had said that this behaviour has only been happening for the past three weeks and seemed become more obvious when you took two weeks' leave. Cheryle was previously a hard-working and reliable staff member. Her help and support to others at Little.ly were invaluable. Because of this, the staff have not been comfortable coming forward with th complaints and have let the issue slide. Now everyone is stressed, and the workplace is not as frien happy as it used to be. I would like you to meet with Cheryle to manage her underperformance. Kind Regards, Christian Wells Owner ittle. 25 Acorn Avenue, Oak Valley 3045 Phone: 03 1234 1234 www.littlely.eduworks.com.au
