To measure reading comprehension, standardized tests were administered to both groups after a month. The tests included multiple-choice questions and short answer questions based on the reading material. The scores from these tests provided quantifiable data on each student's reading comprehension. This data was collected using the ratio level of measurement, as it allows for precise comparisons and meaningful interpretations of differences in scores. Ratio measurement includes a true zero point, meaning a score of zero would indicate no reading comprehension (Kazhan et al., 2020). By comparing the test scores between the two groups, researchers aimed to determine if the interactive reading app significantly improved reading comprehension compared to traditional textbooks. The use of ratio measurement ensures that the results are accurate and can be statistically analyzed to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. This experiment could help educators decide whether to adopt interactive reading technologies to enhance students' learning outcomes (Buehl, 2023)
