Cosmetic surgery started with treating burn victims and now some people have multiple procedures to modify or "fix" many parts of their skin and bodies.
Today, robotic arms and legs are regularly used to replace lost limbs. Probably if asked many people would replace a lost limb with a robotic one. Would you? Given how far people have gone with cosmetic surgery is it that far of a stretch to believe that people will embed a chip in their brain? Would you? If it meant you could function longer into old age, your memory would remain in tact? Would you? Who would? Athletes? Entertainers? Professors? What will happen if everybody does it?
