Today there is a great deal of discussion about the relationship between innovation $($automation of internal organizational processes$)$ and human resource management. Specifically, many argue that staffing needs and organizational processes will change, as technology grows more sophisticated. These arguments primarily are made with respect to the private sector. Do you believe they are valid for the public sector, too? Put differently, do you believe that advances in technology will change the structure of public organizations in the same way they are anticipated to change the structure of private organizations?
