Topic: Community Clinic in San Diego

It was the Greek philosopher Heraclitus who said that "change is the only constant in life." Many factors can prompt the need or desire for individual change or change within a healthcare organization. There can also be many agents of change within an organization. "Agents of change" refers to individuals or entities that actively promote and facilitate meaningful and impactful shifts in attitudes, behaviors, processes, or structures that drive progress and improvement.

This discussion provides an opportunity for you to reflect upon and share how the capstone course (and your BS program) has motivated, facilitated, or promoted your need or desire for change and becoming an agent of change for your organization or profession.

Your first post should contain approximately two hundred words (not including the PowerPoint slides) and address the following:

1. In what ways have you become an agent of change for your organization? Relate something specific that you have learned during this capstone course that supports your statement.
2. Reflect upon how your academic experience in this bachelor's program will contribute to you better adapting to change in your organization or profession.
3. Post a 2-3 slide summary PPT about your project to share with your classmates. (Feel free to include a link to your project if appropriate). Slides should include:
   1. Brief description of your project
   2. Reason for choosing your project
   3. Goals you set for your project
   4. At least one change that occurred (or will occur) as a result of your project
