Topic: Point of sales

1. Introduction: The report writing task includes writing a detailed plagiarism free report on a relevant information systems (IS)/information technology (IT) topic such as a new IS/IT technology with business applications or a new information systems management approach (some topics provided in section 4 below). The idea is to investigate the selected topic using articles, websites, books, journal papers and/or interviews and industry feedback (optional). In the report, you are expected to discuss: 1) Your topic choice should be limited to only local identities. 2) Brief introduction about the chosen industry and background (200-300 words 3) The idea is to investigate the selected topic using the main components of IT (Hardware, software, services, data management and networking). 4) What are business objectives of this System? 5) Transactional System (TPS) and management decision making and Business intelligence (DSS) 6) Key conclusions of the study
