Jack was found in a handbag in the Victoria Station cloakroom. He falls in love with Gwendolen. Jack\'s name is “Ernest in town and Jack in the country.” (Wilde n.p.). He is an appropriate boy who lives in two countries. His name is Earnest in London, but Jack in the country. He continuously acts as two different persons. Why do you believe that he always lies about his name and makes almost everybody believe that he is Earnest? What would you have done in his situation? Did Jack comprehend what being "earnest" meant?
