Shaggy, Fred, and Scooby were driving about in the Mystery Machine, they heard an odd sound coming from under the hood of the vehicle. Suddenly, the trio realized thatthere was a problem with the van. Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and Fred all hopped out of the Mystery Machine to investigate what had gone wrong. Because the engine was smoking, they determined that the car could no longer be driven. They were unable to utilize any alternative means to get back home. They decided to go via hitchhiking. After several hours had passed, they were still in a hopeless situation. As they waited, the sky began to grow dark, and they could see a tornado moving in their direction. The three people were terrified and raced up the road in an attempt to find somewhere safe to hide. They came upon what seemed to be an abandoned factory and made their way inside for cover. Upon entering the factory, it was shown to be a scooby-snack manufacturing facility; it had not been abandoned. Scooby's sniff picked up on the mouthwatering aromas, and he made his way toward the moving belt that was laden with tasty delights. Daphne and Velma, the proprietors of the factory, emerged from the building through a rear entrance after hearing the jingle on Scooby's collar. "This is our factory, you trespassers leave or else I will murder you!" Daphne yelled at the people who had entered the building without permission. It was up to Shaggy, Fred, and Scooby to choose whether or not there would be a violent confrontation. A horse was able to escape the oncoming storm by crashing through the factory's roof just as it was getting closer. As they worried for their lives, Shaggy, Fred, and Scooby fled the factory and returned to the raging storm outside.
