You will see he points out that California has passed a law requiring publicly traded corporations to have at least one woman on its board of directors or be fined $$100,000.$ If a company has $5$ board members, it must have at least $2$ female directors. It has $6$ board members, it must have at least $3$ female directors or face a $$300,000$ fine. That state law is based on promoting diversity and "advancing gender equality." What do you think? Is such a law good or bad? Is this an example of too much government regulation on private business?
