traditional bookstores like barnes & noble or electronic chains like best buy were becoming amazon's showroom, such that a customer would see, say, a television in best buy, get all information from best buy's sales person, but later buy it at cheaper prices at amazon. was it the end of traditional retailers, or could they find new strategy to survive?
