image text in transcribed Walnut Orchard has two farms that grow wheat and corn. Because of differing soil conditions, there are differences in the yields and costs of growing crops on the two farms. The yields and costs are shown in the table below. Each farm has 100 acres available for cultivation. At least 11,000 bushels of wheat and 7,000 bushels of corn must be grown. (a) Formulate (but do not solve) a linear programming model for determining a planting plan that will minimize the cost of meeting these demands. [12 pts] (b) Formulate the dual of the linear programming model in (a). [8 pts] (c) It is known from the sensitivity analysis report of a solver software that the shadow price for the constraint on the corn requirements is 0.12 , and the allowable increase and decrease in the right-hand-side of this constraint is 93000 and 7000 respectively. The optimal objective value is also found to be 3315. What is the new optimal objective value if 8000 bushels of corn are to be grown instead of the original 7000 bushels of corn? Justify your answer based on only the information provided in this question. [6 pts]
