Trial Balance extracted on 31 March 2020 failed to agree and the difference of RM680 was recorded in the credit side of a Suspense Account. On investigation the following errors were discovered:

i.A purchases invoice for RM157 had been posted to SY Day & Sons in error. The goods had been bought from Days' Supplies.

ii.The Sales Day Book had been overcast by RM220.

iii.A cheque payment for repairs to the office building of RM41 had been entered in the accounts as RM14.

iv.A payment by cheque of RM50 to A. Biggs had been debited in the Cash Book and credited to A. Biggs' Account.

v.The purchase of a motor vehicle costing RM5,600 had been entered correctly into the Bank Account but debited to the Motor Vehicles Account as RM6,500.

vi.A credit sale of RM180 to Andersa had not been entered into the accounts.

Required:

  1. Prepare the journal entries to correct the above errors.
  2. Prepare the suspense account.

4.If the net profit had previously been calculated at RM78,580 for the year ending 31 March 2020, show the calculation of the corrected profit.
