Trionne and Verny are friends. They are both sixteen years old and enjoy going for short trips to visit and explore various Caribbean islands. Trionne is very well known as an actress in Jamaica and is used to flying business or first class. Verny, on the other hand, does not have as much money and generally travels in economy class. During a particularly pleasant trip to Barbados, a sudden and unexpected storm hits the island. Trionne had a flight planed for the next day and receives a message that her flight has been cancelled. Verny, on the other hand, has her flight booked for the next week and it has not been cancelled. Trionne needs to catch the flight back to Jamaica as she has an important appointment with her doctor the next day. In order to make the flight back to Jamaica, Trionne organises a charter flight for the next morning. Verny is quite keen to get home as well since Trionne will not be in Barbados with her and the storm has meant she cannot see the sights. She asks Trionne if she is able to fly back with her and offers Trionne to pay for part of the charter costs. Trionne agrees and Verny and Trionne take the charter flight back to Jamaica. When the bill arrives for the charter flight, neither Trionne or Verny are keen to pay. The charter company is threatening with legal action.
